Jesse plays and Misty sleeps but Sally guards the house. You never know when a deer or a rabbit or GOD FORBID A SQUIRREL might intrude on our peaceful life here. But we stay calm and secure in the knowledge that Sal the Wonder Dog is on watch and will deter any trespassers. read more

The older Sally gets the more anti-social she becomes. She is especially jealous of other dogs. I think a lot of it is that she doesn't feel well. Old ladies do get cranky. read more

There's a gully near the pond and undoubtedly there are beasts living there. It occupies a good deal of the girls' attention when we go for walks. Since it's nothing we can easily see - I hope we never find out what it actually is. read more
