We have a couple of trees on our property with mistletoe. Mistletoe is pretty and very handy at Christmas and oddly (since it is a parasite) it is the state flower of Oklahoma. Jesse wakes up in a new world every morning. He doesn't seem to care if it is raining or cold or warm. I do believe he likes the warm better though because "the girls" are out more then. He is such a happy go lucky pup. He is very sweet and wants attention but is not easily intimidated either. read more

Jesse plays and Misty sleeps but Sally guards the house. You never know when a deer or a rabbit or GOD FORBID A SQUIRREL might intrude on our peaceful life here. But we stay calm and secure in the knowledge that Sal the Wonder Dog is on watch and will deter any trespassers. read more
