Many years ago I had read an article on Dogs for the Deaf (http://www.dogsforthedeaf.org/) in which I can relate to since I too am Hard of Hearing. I do hear and can interact with the hearing world yet I wanted to know more about what they do. I learned that this service rescues dog from shelters and train them to be placed to those that are deaf. read more
