Poor Sniper is still not himself. At 17 years old, I'm not going to traumatize him with a visit to the vet. I have him confined to a large dog crate so that he can rest, and he's still eating well. The dogs are unusually interested in him, which probably means they can sense that he's sick. As long as he's eating, I think he might get better. … read more

How come dogs don't get colds. I have a doozy of a cold right now and the dogs couldn't care less. They don't get sick, even though they roll around in the snow and come in with hunks of it stuck in their coats, which then melts all over my floors. read more
