I finally got a van, which I've been wanting for a long time. Now I have to find an effective barrier for the dogs in the back. The van has six bucket seats so the barriers that go on top of the second seat won't work, the dogs could just walk right under it. So it's off to Pet Smart to see what they have. I volunteer at a shelter a few times a year, and when I go, I like to bring Rags. He is very good with the children who are staying there, and, of course, it's an exciting break in their routine to have a dog come and visit. Some of these children are afraid of dogs, and Rags reassures them that not all dogs are scary. read more

Had another play date with Dreamer, Rags and Willow yesterday. Dreamer now weighs about 25 pounds and is a very confident little puppy. He loves to play with Rags, and Rags loves to play with him. Dreamer now play bows, and is learning doggy manners. He is SO cute. read more

Yesterday I took Rags over to my friend Barbara's house to play with her new Golden puppy Dreamer. Her older dog Willow doesn't correct the puppy, but Rags corrected him several times and Dreamer handled the whole thing beautifully. A wonderful time was had by all, even with all the mud. We're doing to do another playdate soon. read more
