I'm baby (or puppy) sitting for Dreamer, a 3-month old golden puppy this morning. He and Rags had an energetic play-time and now both are asleep under my feet. Dreamer learns more about playing all the time. He's a beautiful pup and smart and sweet. I would love to have puppies all the time, they are so much fun. read more

Since a good friend has a new golden puppy, I'm getting very envious. I know we can't have more than two big dogs in our townhouse, but I'm so tempted. I think if I were rich and could do anything I wanted, I would raise puppies. There is nothing like that sweet furry little thing on your lap or in your arms to make life complete. read more

We are still getting many calls from people who want to get their pets certified for Pet Therapy. We filled up the workshop we're holding this Wednesday and have the next one in April about half full. read more

It seemed so strange this morning. I fed the dogs and almost started to get the cat food out before I remembered that he's not here any more. These little changes in routine are what hurts the most. We miss Sniper. read more

Yesterday we had a class of third and fourth grade Girl Scouts here for a program on service dogs. The girls really listened and seemed interested. Afterwards they got to go through the kennel and meet Rags. I hope they had a good time. read more
