Last night it snowed, this morning turned to ice and now it's raining. I love New Jersey weather. The dogs love it too. Last night on their final walk, they were covered in snow in 60 seconds. I had to brush off their snowman disguises before I could bring them back in the house or we would have had a snow-covered interior. read more

Shelters cannot survive without volunteers. Every volunteer has a special meaning in our heart since they keep our pets alive, give them mental and physical stimulation and maintain behavioral health. They also do things that we simply cannot do with a limited staff. We all thank you. read more
