Calvin and Brock are still not completely 100% OK with sharing toys and sometimes sharing Mommy and Daddy but for the most part, they have come around very nicely. I am thrilled for both of them when they are playing in the back yard together. They're so cute together. read more

Calvin and Brock

Well after much growling and snapping and generally bitchiness, Calvin is finally getting used to Brock. Brock is super, super submissive so he's doing a good job of diffusing Calvin. My husband and I are also finally getting the hang of just how to treat the two of them together and the fighting is getting less and less prevalent. Thank you to everyone who responded to my inquiries about two pit bulls together and my question about the hostility between the two. read more

Calvin v. The Beach

We are assuming that Calvin had never been to the beach because when we took him...he had a freakin' BALL! He was all over the place. We took him at this time of year because of his slight dog aggressiveness. There was no one else on the beach at this time of year and he was just hilarious on the beach. Doggie Backpack - Part 2

Well we got Calvin the correct-sized backpack...and then he broke it. We are now in the market for a TOUGHER doggie backpack. Does anyone have any suggestions? The last one was by Outward Hound. We can't use that brand again apparently. Calvin is a whole lotta work but we wouldn't have him any other way. read more
