Petition to Urge the Obama Family to Adopt Their N…

I just got this e-mail from Best Friends Animal Society and though I am not admitting to my political views either way, I think this is still a good cause. It's ALWAYS a good idea to get public figures to realize the plight of shelter animals. And who better to recognize this sad phenomena than a Presidential Candidate? They were all over it and sniffing every last grain of sand. It was hilarious and so good to see them just running… read more

Tasha to the rescue!

When My husband and I lost our first doberman puppy, Java, at the age of 18 months, I thought I would never recover from the trauma. The sun rose and set on that perfect little puppy-girl and I was sooooooo depressed for a long while. After some time, we heard about another doberman who had lost her human (she was 5 y.o.) and now she was homeless. I was still hurting from my first dog but agreed to meet the homeless dobe. After long discussion we agreed to take her into our hom… read more
