Haven't had time or interest in the last 6 weeks to do a journal but will throw one up just so I don't get lost in the dust of our shelter's remodeling, as well as our own. Footings at home will be poured tomorrow and am sure Jett will be barking at the door with all the mason helpers who will be here. read more

Fabulous weather today in NJ and perfecet for getting ouside chores done. Have some adirondack chairs to repair and stain. Bad news is that it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Better get cracking. read more

Have the mason here today fixing the front steps and then I have to have someone put up a handrail. Our old friend David is here cleaning the carpets at the same time. Good thing it's a nice day so we can open all the windows for quicker drying time. read more
