I have always loved animals. Being involved with my local shelter has allowed me to help homeless pets and make some great friends. I feel that a home without pets is merely a house.

Well, we're all in Florida now and boy is it hot! It was a very big change from the cooler rainy weather in Ohio. Beagles are Singing the Suitcase Blues
The furkids suspected something was up. Kelsey and Bailey saw me folding clothes and putting them in a basket to go into another room. The pack grew restless. They heard me call a friend to watch the house next week. And they grew more suspicious. And then there was the telltale sound of the suitcase wheels as they came out of the extra bedroom. You would think I would have had enough excitement this week with the Zootoo Celebration at the shelter and then North Shore's TOur for Life the next day and I even managed to squeeze some work in there, but that wasn't the case. This afternoon I traveled with a friend and 2 of the pack to Indianapolis. Tomorrow is their Humane Society's Mutt Strut. I have never been before, but have always wanted to go.
