My 15 year old Bichon, Abby, has had a runny nose for almost 2 months. The allergy season is very bad now. She sneezes violently sometimes and wheezes. Bijou is senile, blind and has kidney disease. He doesn't like the human touch and closeness that he used to crave. When he's not sleeping, he spins in cirles or wanders fro the dimentia. My friend's dog died after a year of fighting illness. They did everything they could to get her the best treatment and keep her comfortable. It's so hard to know what to do or say when you see a friend in so much pain. There are some great pet loss sympathy cards on the market now which is nice. read more
