Many of the people there had pets when they lived at home. They often have pictures of them and they tell me all about them and how much they miss them. It's not hard to do. Six rescued pets

My dog Bullet was my saddest rescue. She was taken to the city shelter , and then to a vet hospital where I worked. She had been shot twice through the chest. It shattered her right fore leg so badly she had an external fixeter on her leg for 14 weeks. As she lay in her kennel at the vets her tail never stopped wagging at anyone who came near her. I have owned 5 pits so far. Two have been Registered therapy dogs and I have 2 more working on it. They have visited daycare,group homes, and nursing homes. I encourage any one who has well trained loving dogs of any breed, especially so "called dangerous breeds" to do something possitive like that. People need to learn that it's the owner NOT the breed that is the problem. read more
