Well, yesterday, we made our second trip to the beach. We took trash bags, rakes, shovels, etc. We picked up several bags of trash. We put salvagable items in piles. We made our first trip to the Texas coast yesterday. It was both good and bad. Sooo much destruction - one the other hand, new power lines are up, a lot of clean up done/underway. For the past 4 years, I've spent Halloween in Texas. Our house in Illinois is on the edge of town, on a state highway. No sidewalks, no street lights, etc. Not very good for trick-or-treaters.
