Why do pets want toys they can't even pick up. Otto really likes the Air Kong Squeaker. But his mouth is so small he can't pick it up. He likes the football, too. But again, he can't pick it up. The small toys that I buy for him, he ignores. Silly boy. read more

It was cooooool this morning. When we got up, it was in the mid-50's outside, and 65 inside (in Texas). Chance here. Well, we made our fall trip to Texas this week. We left our house in Illinois on Wednesday morning and got home in Texas on Thursday evening. No problems on the way. Wednesday, we got the camping bug. We loaded up the refrigerator, a few clothes, and the dogs and headed for New Salem State Park in Petersburg, IL. Ron found a small lump on Otto's neck about 10 days ago. At first, he thought is was a tick, but it wasn't. But, it had been bleeding. He took Otto to the vet last Tuesday, and it was a wart.
