La Quinta Inn & Suites Charleston - Riverview

My husband and I decided on a last minute road-trip to Charleston during a long weekend. We packed up our 2 year old and our 3 dogs and hit the road. We always know that we can rely on La Quinta's when we are travelling to take our dogs. No weight limit and we have three...no problem! The location of the hotel is VERY convenient to the historic district in Charleston and a easy drive to folly beach. I think the motel is older, but it was recently renovated, so everything is nice and clean. Breakfast is included in the morning down in the lobby as long as you get there by 9am. The hotel is set right on the Marina, so the view doesn't get much better.

I thought the La Quinta was a great value for family and pet friendly accomodations. Rate was around $85 per night with no additional pet fee.

Pros: Great location. Right on the marina. Recently updated. Bring your dog!

Cons: Obviously not the Ritz, but clean and recently updated. Good value
