Decent place in lovely area

We stayed at the Hitching Post on an unexpected overnight trip to CT with our dogs. The motel is not pet friendly however when we asked the owner allowed us to stay there with the dogs. It is a small motel. The rooms are clean and modern.
Pros: In lovely area
Cons: Not really pet friendly
