I have used Equine Senior to rehabilitate many of the horses that have come through the rescue. This product has been a life saver - literally! It works well for the older horses as well as horses at any age that arrive malnourished and/or underweight. It is easily digestible and the soft pellets can be moistened for even those horses that have worn down or missing teeth. It is a complete feed so the fiber and roughage is in there although I still provide hay to alleviate boredom.
