Pros: When galvanized water tanks get a hole, turn them into a feeder
Cons: they don't last forever for water
Before I started using the rubber water tanks I used these galvanized ones. They work fine until they get hit with the pick while breaking ice in the winter or rusting out eventually. So I turn them into feeders and tie them to the fence. THey work quite well but you do need to clean then out occasionally
