This is one of the best books ever. I read it as a small child and the movie is fab!

Yes it is a great book. Did you ever read Big Red or any other horse stories. There was an author who did a bunch of series. I can not remember who it was. They were easy to read, bigger letters, and I remember there where a lot of pages with some pictures through the books,

I have read a lot of them! Secretariat (I have one of his first granddaughters)...Ruffian, Seabiscuit, and several others. I love to read and I cant remember the name of the author I like...ugh...old age! LOL!
