Canine lymphoma, or lymphosarcoma, is a type of cancer involving the cells of the immune system. In dogs, this condition can often be characterized by diarrhea; your dog may also exhibit signs of abdominal pain, or pain when being touched. Other symptoms of canine lymphoma may also include lethargy, stressful breathing, or a swollen abdomen. You may also notice that your dog has difficulty swallowing, a fear of light, or displays unsteadiness when walking. If you suspect that your dog may be suffering from canine lymphoma, your vet can help to confirm the diagnosis in order to determine the appropriate course of treatment. In some cases, chemotherapy can help to treat the condition.
