Basophilia in pets refers to a blood condition resulting from other disorders, including a pet's immune system response to parasites. While the most definitive symptom of the condition is usually a loss of appetite, your pet may exhibit a range of other symptoms, including weight loss, rapid or distressed breathing, or a dry cough. Your pet may also experience unsteadiness when walking, or have diarrhea associated with this condition.
