Aspergillosis in pets refers to a fungal infection of the sinuses caused by aspergillus mold. Aspergillus mold is found in dust, straw and hay, grass clippings. Aspergillosis in pets is most commonly characterized by a nasal discharge. Before discussing the condition with your vet, you may want to note the color and amount of your pet's nasal discharge. If your pet is experiencing aspergillosis, he may also exhibit a lack of energy, or lethargy, excessive sneezing, or a loss of appetite.
