An anal prolapse, or rectal prolapse, refers to a condition in which your pet's; rectal tissue extends beyond the anus and are visible outside the body. If your pet is experiencing an anal prolapse, you may notice a protusion from its anus. This condition can also be characterized by continuous defecation, or diarrhea. If you suspect your pet is suffering from an anal prolapse, do not delay in seeking veterinary medical attention; surgery can help.
