I have been taaking my hard to manage dog, Brody there for about a year or more now. There seem very nice and he never comes back with cuts or anything else you described. And yes, he bites, he is a willful terrier with a temper. They muzzle him and I give him Ace ( with the permission of my vet) and he is OK there. He likes the guy at the front desk and likes treats. I also take my neighbor's chow, Suki, there, they both go at once to save time and travel. Suki is an elderly chow, who is very nice, but bit the groomer at Petco, the first time whe ever bit anyone in 12 years,so I have to guess the groomer did something to provoke it. So now she goes to Pet Salon and while she hates vets and groomers, she does fine there, is scared but doesn't need a muzzle or Ace. I have to disagree with you. They have a camera in the waiting room so you can see what is going on.

I wonder if the same person owns it as when I worked there. I am glad they have the camera set up but I can guarantee that the incidents I described did indeed occur. I have a notebook somewhere at home with the names of the pets and the dates. I hope they have changed their ways and some of the groomers for the sake of the pets.
