Great vet

posted 6 years ago

this place has a great hospital staff and a really good training center. The only problem is that they do get busy and they may not be able to watch over all pets in the kennels, daycare, and grooming department. However, they do take as good of care of the animals as they can.

Pros: great hospital and training center

Cons: very busy

A typical vet center

posted 8 years ago

This is your typical Suburban veternary hospital / dog groomer / boarding kennel all rolled into one (No pet store yet, but look forward to 20XX when they will be a true one stop mega pet service center and oriental food center.)

Mostly focused on Cats and Dogs, getting an outcall seems to be impossible. The vets and technicans seem pretty good and have good people skills. The last time I used them, the receptionist was too busy to handle people at the counter, I would probably not go to them for anything other than routine pet problems and exams for ordnary pets (Cats and Dogs - Nothing exotic or even odd)

Once you use their services, they will upsell all the dental, annual checkups, shots, ect that they can - expect junk mail reminders every couple of months. Thank god the phone calls have stopped.

I have not used their grooming or boarding, but their facility looks clean and well taken care of (it's still pretty new)

Pros: Not too expensive, nice new well built and designed facility

Cons: Expect a sales job on the way out the door, they upsell alot

Sumner Animal Grub has been in the same location for years, and IIRC is family run. They are horse-centric, but do carry food and supplies for most everything (cats, dogs, livestock and small animals… more ›
