Lola & Penelope's

I wanted a Puppia harness for my new puppy, and searched the internet for a place to buy one. Lola's and Penelope's was the only shop that carried them. It was my first time there and the staff was very friendly, they even gave me a new puppy welcome gift bag, that had food and treat samples and a teddy bear! Later that week I received a hand written thank you card with my puppies name in it and everything, just for shopping there. Now that is how customer service should be.

Pros: Very helpful staff

Cons: A little pricey

With a central location in St. Louis county, this store is definitely an animal lovers paradise! This amazing pet boutique and spa carries just about everything you could ask for in a store and more!

They carry the Barkology clothing line, Life is Good shirts, awesome jewelry for both humans and pet alike, many organic/all natural foods (Fromms, Merrick, Evo, Zukes, etc), books, bags, bowls, leashes, kitchy gifts ~ you name it, they got it!

Their grooming services are fantastic and rest assured, your babies will be well taken care of with the knowledgeable staff.

Because of their locale (Clayton), they are a little pricier then most ~ however I don't mind since they support so many local animal welfare groups through really fun events, etc.

If you need a gift for an animal lover, MUST go here!

Plus, they have a discount card program for buying dog/cat food and for grooming services.

Pros: Everything dog/cat from human wear to books to dog wear

Cons: Little Pricier than most but Worth It!
