This is a great dog service. We don't have that many to choose from but really they all are good. Kind and caring is very important and they are here.

When i toke my dog to the Shaggy Dog they gave her a bath and helped with a sore on her leg. They are great and very knowledgeable of products.

WENDY HAS ALWAYS GROOMED AND SHAVED OUR CATS. WE HAVE THREE LONG HAIRS AND SHE IS THE ONLY ONE WE AVE FOUND THAT WILL SHAVE OUR CATS DOWN IN THE SPRING AND SUMMER. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT WE MOVED TO OSWEGO COUNTY AND HAVE NOT FOUND ANY ONE IN THIS AREA THAT SHAVE CATS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

They were great about fitting us in last minute when we initially adopted our dog from a family that had never groomed him in the 7 months they owned him. He was full of fleas and his hair was in horrible condition. He looked nothing like a Mini Schnauzer before he entered The Shaggy Dog but was so handsome afterwards. They got rid of the fleas too.

Pros: They LOVE taking care of your pet

I can't say enough about the owner of the Shaggy Dog. Wendy truly cares about animals. I took in a stray kitten, and while she did not have room for the kitten in her shop, she injected the cats with fluids due to dehydration and gave me some really helpful tips to try over the weekend until I could get the cat to the vet. Over a year later, and "Nora" is still a part of our family & is as healthy & as happy as can be!
