Call assisted living facilities and talk to their activities director. Most assisted living facilities love to have therapy dogs come in as an activity where everyone can meet the animal. It reminds them of the pets they use to have before they came to assisted living. I find that my Registered Therapy Dog relates better to people that have a little more energy, especially the staff. They need the therapy as much as the residents.
