New rabbit owner

May 8, 2009 | By Jamie B. | 6 comments

Just wondering if there's any good advice from you all because I am a first time rabbit owner. He's 4 and a Dutch. I read lettuce is bad but the vet said its not bad. Then the pet store said alphalfa hay was good but my vet said no and to use Timothy hay. Anything else I should know?

get use to everything there. But not to worry bunnies are as tempermental as people think. Most people compare them to dogs or cats and they get over things much more quickly.

If you bunny seems upset then leave him alone for a week or so until he seems more calm.
