fighting rabbits

July 14, 2009 | By sharon e. | 5 comments

I have raised rabbits for many years, I have rabbits that have had bad days. Sometimesthey will bicker and get over it..I have a momma rabbit who has kits. They are a year and a half now. They have been together all this time with the exception of a couple of them you fought with each other. Momma now want to fight with all of them. I've tried putting her with different ones and for some unknown reason she fights with all of them. She is not sick, they all are spayed and neutered. I will have to put her byherself but I really don't want to have to do that but I don't want to spend the day stitching up rabbits either. Also if I have to set up another pen in the room it shortens everyone else space.Mommas name is scarlett. Her kits are vanna, peter, ashton, these are the ones shes fighting with now. Roxie and jasper are also hers but peter and ashton fight with rxie and jasper. Any suggestions?

it is proubly best to seperate them because every rabbit enjoys there own space.

and also, the momma is probably ready to be on her own. if she has a "husbun" thats ok. but typically momma buns dont want much to do with their babies after a certain time.
