How easy is the condo to clean? Because I am worried that if I have a condo that has wood or carpet in it that it will hold odors... And my bunnies are nto litter trained so I dont know if it will make it hard to clean... I like my cages for the fact that all I have to do is empty the dirty bedding in a garbage bag and put new bedding in... But other then that the cages are nto working for me. Someone told me to make the sides out of chicken wire. But my problem with that is that when they run around they get poop and shaving on the floor. I dont mind spending money to make a cage I just dnt want to make a big condo then have it be hard to clean and always smell and a job in it's self ya know? with being prego I need it to be easy to clean and without me having to deal with cleaning up poop and pee... I use to have the bunnies in a 50 gallon fish tank with a divider but that was a huge messy project everytime I had to clean it...

I made a 4 story condo with wire ties, coroplast , panels for making storage cubes and pieces of outdoor carpet cheap from home depot. Of course this would put one bunny on top of the other, but they could still smell each other.
For a litter box, I use a large storage container with a divet cut in the front and sanded smooth. I put newspaper on the bottom and hay on top of that. I feed them in the litter box since most of their poop is in the litter box. I say most because my female (both are fixed) is totally litter trained and the male is a slob so although he mostly goes in the litter box, he does not always, although he is not really bad I guess. At least he always pees in the litter box now.
He did have a minor bladder or kidney infection at one time ...very low grade with no fever and that caused him to poop all over and have little pees all over. I thought it was the bonding process not working well (lol).
