What an absolutely adorable kitty! You're a great mom!

Oh my gosh, what a beautiful kitty! I have a three-legged kitty myself, Vinnie, whose left eye was scarred by a bad URI. Her back right leg was amputated in the shelter. The Field Services team found her walking the streets on a pawless leg. They couldn't figure out if she'd lost the paw in a fight or if she'd born without one. In any case, her poor leg was infected and wasn't salvageable. But, frankly, she gets around just fine and I've stopped thinking that she's "special needs." It's amazing how adaptable animals are.

Vinnie and my dad are special friends. In fact, I named her Lavinia James, the James being for my dad. He had his own right leg amputated when he was 18 and I think that's part of the reason I fell in love with Vinnie right away. She and my dad are kindred spirits.
