Saying Goodbye

Getting the kittens when you did was probably a good idea. We got our new kitten about a month after Jake died, and you're right. She keeps doing things that I remember Jake doing. The kitten, Lily, is the sweetest thing ever, but seeing Jake in her just kills me sometimes. I try to remember at those times that "I remember him doing that, those are great times to remember", but it's still hard. I'm sure it will get a little easier, but i don't think it will ever go away. An honestly, I'm not sure I want it to go away.

Abby was my first baby so I was really depressed and still cry at times. On the one year aniversary of her passing I was on the brink of tears all day at work.
