My husband and I actually purchased our C.J. in 1990 for 3.50 at a local pet store that was always our running joke about him all this trouble for 3.50. Sadly, C.J. passed in 11/08 I never knew how much you could hurt with the passing of a cat he was kinda our whole life I can't even mention his name without crying, but it makes me feel better that he had a long and happy life with us.
He looks so peaceful ... let me guess he was really an active cat when not sleeping :/ I am glad that you had him for 18 years ... he must have been one really well cared for cat.
