Where to find mutts??

The best place to find mutts is local shelters. You can go to Petfinders.com and find thousands of mutts of all ages, Help save lives. Any good shelter will have them spayed/neutered and all shots so if the adoption cost is more than $25 you won't have the vet bill to do this.

I just got my pretty little mutt from an ad on craigslist, but it took me many months to find her. If the previous owner had decided to call her something fancy like Italian Dalmatian they probably could have made money off of her. Of course at five years old she's not exactly a puppy anymore either.

Another great place to check a bunch of shelters at once is petfinder.com just beware a rescue that only deals in small 'designer" dogs from puppy mill auctions is likely to charge you upwards of 1000.00 for the pup.
