LOOK AT THIS PLEASE!

I think after the election, those of us that feel as we do should start writing our congressmen. If you read my one post in this discussion it talks about it, get the site out there and the letters. If I have to send one every day then I have to. I encourage everyone to. Many of the pit bulls that have been rescued here are being trained as police dogs and for use in security and drug sniffing. The results are amazing. They are making EXCELLENT canine partners and this is allowing departments with limited budgets to afford canine help. The dogs get a second and much needed chance. It's not perfect but it's a start. One more myth about pitbulls dispelled. If anyone knows of unlicensed backyard breeders, turn them in. In St. Louis if you don't have a license to breed and your animals aren't fixed, it's a misdemeanor and the fine is a bit hefty. I'm sure others cities are doing the same. It's up to each of us to do our part. Alone, not much can be done, but united we have strength.

How can anyone hurt a helpless creature. Michael Vick should get the same treatment in jail in a cell a beating from the pitbulls inmates for what he did to those poor dogs.
