I'd say that I agree with the eye for an eye concept.But that kind of punishment will never happen. It doesn't even happen when the victem is a human.

Not the death penalty, but an eye for an eye. I think the abuser should experience the same abuse as he inflicted on the animal. I only caught part of this story, but he should be shoved into a similar object, no matter how painful, and kept there immobilized and subjected to the same treatment and time frame that the animal was subjected to. Publicize it to add to the humiliation. Sure, your "bleeding hearts" will protest this inhumane treatment, but if it stops one animal abuser, it's worth it!
