Use of multiple emails

April 16, 2009 | By Valerie | 3 comments

My thought on using multiple emails to vote is that it may be against the Official Rules, which state "Limit: Each
Shelter Participant may only register once, and each Affiliate Member may only register once. Any attempt by an Affiliate Member to register more than
once by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods could result in disqualification from further
participation in this or any other Makeover Program, and loss of all points earned by the Affiliate Member for his/her adopted Shelter Participant." I'm not clear on whether this applies only to the point accumulation phase, or to voting also. Could someone check this out?

I thought you could only vote if you had your photo in your profile. Eight people - same computer should be ok if each one is registered properly. Lots of people share computers.

I am sure it applies to both phases. Using more than one email address for one person is pretty obviously cheating. You can get more votes by recruiting more people. With express permission, you can log on for the other person and vote if they do not have the time/computer literacy.
