Rocky Update

I spoke with Rocky's new "dad" yesterday. John said that Rocky is adjusting well to life in their home. During the first night he checked on Rocky about 4 times. The first three times Rocky was sleeping in the middle of the living room floor. The 4th time, Rocky was sleeping up in John's recliner. Rocky got to chase (but not catch) a black racer snake in the back yard and impressed John with his running speed. Rocky also met the neighbor's dogs through the fence which went very smoothly. John was a bit concerned that Rocky wasn't eating his kibble well, but admited Rocky never hesitated to request and eat dog treats. Our junk food addict dog is trying to eat all snacks and no real food - nothing new there! The initial adjustment seems to be going wonderfully. And to make things even better ... it was John's birthday. Rocky was his birthday present!
