Cold!!

It is going only up to 13 today, but I will still ride in the indoor arena. Much below that, I won't. Before I kept my horse at a stables with an indoor arena, I rode if it was 20 degrees or warmer, but honestly, most of the time I was leading to stay warm.

How warm does it have to be for you to ride?

I'm about the same as Diane--a wimp! We're just not used to weather that cold here in WA. The 17 degree cold snap last month pretty much brought our whole area to a standstill. Ask me about riding in the rain though--we're used to that!

20 degrees is my cut off for indoors. I'm a sissy I usually head to the indoor if it is below 45 unless it is still and sunny
