adrenal disease

i'm also wondering though what happens when the gland is gone dose he have to be on medicine for the rest of his life or anything??? i dunno i guess i'll find out monday i'm just so nervous i love my little guy

once they verify it's adrenal's they'll do a simple procedure to remove the affected gland. The you just gotta make him comfy until he recovers. Most ferrets recover just fine, especially if it's caught early. The hair grows back during the next coat change (so when he gets his summer coat). Your vet will give you more detailed instructions, and make sure you ask him all the questions that you have. Good luck!
