Uncaged day care
Has anyone had any experiences with Kennels that do not house the pets in cages, but just lets them roam in either their home or within fenced areas? My concern is how well will the animals react to each other. Doggie Day Care has had some good word of mouth recommendations, but my pets are my life so I don't want to make a bad choice.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I agree with Nikki, they do kennel the dogs when they eat to prevent food aggression. I think this is important.

It completely depends on your dog's temperament. When dogs stay with us, it is mostly cage-free, except for dogs whose parents request they sleep in kennel. I do separate them into kennels for mealtimes, but when they're done eating, they come out.
For daycare and cage-free boarding, most places will require the dogs to go through a temperament assessment prior to acceptance.
