Does anyone know how to stop a chihuahua from growling at another family member

Peanut

My one chihuahua Peanut is very possessive of me & will growl at anyone including a family member that comes near me when I'm holding him. He hasn't & will not bite any of my family members but I don't know how to get him to stop growling constantly. He's prone to seizures & when he gets extremely upset-like when he consistently growls it sometimes triggers one. It's very upsetting for me & frustrating because once he starts growling he doesn't stop. I've tried so many different things like immediately putting him down on the floor, but when I do that he just keeps growling, I've tried separating him from me by putting him in another room, but as soon as he gets back in the room he starts again. I've tried using a stern voice & saying no several times when he starts & even tried spritzing him w/a water bottle but nothing seems to stop him. Help me please, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.
