Where DOES our money go?
I was reading some of today's makeover journals & found very few posts in favor of CMHS. In fact, one was quite critical of the amount of money CMHS takes in each year compared to their shelter & they were asking if we raise $900,000 annually where is the money going? Now, I know this is a jealous second place shelter, but the comments could really pursuade people against voting for CMHS. Does anyone have some numbers to look at how much comes in & how it is spent to refudiate the critical claims others are making?

(cont'd) If the shelter capacity doubles because of this makeover (and operations expenses increase considerably, to care for them) but donations stay level (or worse, drop off, if people mistakenly believe CMHS is awash with cash), CMHS is going to be even more short-staffed, so make sure we stay on top of donations/fundraising, AND make sure to vote for CMHS in The Animal Rescue Site contest!
