Thank you!

It has been a quiet morning at CMHS, no phone calls about how to vote and no media wondering "where we are"! Now we play the sit and wait game. That is not a game that I have ever played very well and I see by some of the posts on the volunteer list that others are having trouble as well. The contest winner will be announced on April 27th. That is next Monday. A whole week of sit and wait.

Don't sit and wait, get up and do something. We are always looking for a few good people to come help out at the shelter--that means you!
Be on the Hound Dog Homecoming committee. We have postponed HDH until June (date to follow) but we need a committee to get that project under way.

Come get some dirty laundry.

Volunteer to help with our garage clean out/garage sale.

Take a dog for a walk.

Spend 3 hours every Saturday morning by helping with Walk a Hound, Lose a Pound.

Sign up to clean the cat room 1, 2 or 3 days a week.

Be a special events volunteer. Talk to the public about our wonderful animals.

Really, the possibilities are endless. The warm feeling you get from helping the animals is endless too when you know you have done something good.

Please watch for a way to sign up to be a part of a list that gets regular CMHS updates!

For all you have done for CMHS and all you are about to do, thank you.

Or better yet, go to the animalrescuesite.com and click for free food and then go to the red VOTE HERE near the top and vote for CMHS. They give $1000 weekly prizes and the contest is for $20,000. Ends in July. You can click once a day from each search engine, ie: exployer, netscape, firefox, etc. Go check it out. Problems??? Email back.
