I found a dog and when I took him to the Vet he tested positive for heartworms. Rather than give him the treatment, which can sometimes be harmful to the pet, my vet put him on monthly heartworm pills. He said the pills will kill any new larvae and the adult worms will die on their own. They have a life span of approximately 7 years. I've had Norman for 6 years and he's still going strong.

We rescued this great little guy from another shelter where his future was certain euthanasia. He won our hearts with his sweet face and adorable personality. When we heartworm tested him we found out he is heartworm positive and will require treatments, & we are begging for donations to help w/ this cause ($150 is needed).

~Thank you~
