can greyhounds ever like cats?

Our retired racer, Lancer, lives with 5 cats. He's gotten along with them from day one. But I agree with the comments from "Tunfemk", it all depends on the individual dog's prey drive. Lancer does not, however, tolerate small, yippy dogs. He can't stand them, and will growl (but never bitten or lunged), we just quickly move away from the situation and he's fine.

Yes, Greyhounds can like cats. We have 4 cats and 2 Greyhounds and they all get along fine. However, there are some Greyhounds that have a high prey drive that could have deadly results if put together. Those hounds should never be with small cats or dogs. If you are thinking of getting one, make sure the adoption group you are getting the dog from has the dog cat tested before taking the dog home.
