Also, I can't get them to eat! I bought them some nutritious turtle food at Petsmart and I put a couple of pellets in the water for them, and they totally ignore them. Am I doing something wrong?

I bought two red eared turtles yesterday because they seemed so mistreated. Now I have no clue what I am doing. I put them in a 2.5 gal aquarium (they are babies), and I put just enough water in it to reach their shells. I also put a rock in it with … more ›

I am fostering a sick RES with URI. I've had him to the vet and been thru 3 rounds of IV antibiotics. Has anyone had experience with a sick turtle? He sure doesn't seem to be getting any better and it's been weeks. I'm doing everything I can. I'… more ›

One of my little RES have something wrong with it's eyes. There is a film or something over them. It has been like this for a while. I think he is blind. Any suggestions?
