The Prince on his Pillow

How do you keep your cat groomed if it won't let you brush? He gets lots of clumps.

My big guy isn't too fond of brushing either, especially the belly/armpits where he needs it most.... but he does pretty well if you distract him with a treat! I also get his fur trimmed down by a groomer during the hot summer months - I don't shave him all the way down (he'd be livid!) but by trimming it to an inch or less, it reduces a lot of the matting problems. And he looks like like a little woolly sheep!

I comb my Ragdoll Randy everymorning. I have a special place on the kitchen counter. I tell him up...and he jumps up. The spokes rotate. It's a small comb but he loves it. Afterward I give him his treats. It's just part of our routine in the morning. He is almost like a dog. I only comb him for a few minutes a day.
